Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions stated in this consignment note apply to the carriage for the services booked with single or multimodal delivery options. This consignment note supersedes any other contract, terms and conditions or agreement, whether written or oral.

By using the services of My Ace Courier, the customer agrees that he doesn’t rely on any other contract, terms and conditions or agreement. This consignment note is a binding contract between My Ace Courier and the Party or Parties, stating the rights and liabilities of My Ace Courier and the Party or Parties.

1. It’s for the Party to confirm that this consignment note is created either by the Sender or the staff of My Ace Courier acting as an agent by following the instructions of the Parties, and that the consignment note is legally binding on all the Parties.

2. This consignment note is explicitly applied at the time of booking the services of My Ace Courier. The Parties will remain solely liable in case of any wrongdoing.

3. The consignor shall provide detailed address information of themselves and the consignee with updated telephone and mobile numbers, and Postal Index Number (PIN Code). It’s the sole responsibility of the consignor to bear the risk in case of any service failure due to incorrect address information.

4. The Parties must agree that the courier and logistics services of My Ace Courier are conditional depending on their charges payable by the Parties.

5. It’s for the Parties to make any payments levied by the Municipal, State or Central Government during transit or at the time of the delivery of their consignment.

6. The Parties will have to bear the payment arising out of any discrepancy in the weight of the consignment. If the actual or volumetric weight of the consignment is greater than the stated weight, then the Parties are liable to make the payment for the additional weight.

7. My Ace Courier will not be responsible in case the consignment is held by Statutory Authorities such as, but not limited to, GST, Custom, Excise, Check-Post officials. Also, the Parties shall bear the losses incurred to My Ace Courier by Statutory Authorities in the form of taxes, penalties or other such charges on the account of false information about the consignment or any wrongful declaration of the Parties regarding the consignment.

8. It’s the responsibility and obligation of the Parties to securely pack their carriage before sending them to the offices of My Ace Courier or before My Ace Courier picks it up for delivery or logistics.

9. According to this consignment note, the Parties must strictly ensure that their consignment doesn’t include any contraband articles that are restricted to be carried in courier, or any such commodities that can cause safety risks, as specified in the current edition of IATA DGR regulations.

10. The Party shall not offer any perishable products for transportation that have a shelf life of less than 7 days. My Ace Courier shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage of such products in case their delivery gets delayed.

11. My Ace Courier has the right to open the consignment and examine its content during the acceptance process, or at My Ace Courier’s consignment handling points, or at airport security checkpoints, or at the instructions of any Statutory, Regulatory or Security Authority.

12. My Ace Courier shall not be held responsible for the consequential or indirect losses such as but not limited to loss of income or claims by parties in case the delivery of the consignment gets delayed.

13. My Ace Courier will entertain only those claims of damage or loss of consignment that are made within 30 days of applying for the consignment. Any claims of damage or loss of consignment made after a period of 30 days will not be taken into consideration. Similarly, requests of the refund of freight shall be entertained on the condition that they are made within 30 days of the date of shipping.

14. The Parties are required to pay the freight and other charges at the time of booking the shipment or within the stipulated credit period. In the event of non-payment of the freight and other charges, the Parties shall pay an interest of 24% per annum on such charges. The invoices of freight will be released based on the billing cycle agreed between the Parties and My Ace Courier in the service contract.

15. The Parties shall be liable to pay the freight charges and all other dues to My Ace Courier in case of wrong or incomplete address of the recipient, or the recipient refuses to pay any applicable duties or charges or taxes, or the consignment contains prohibited items, or the packaging of the parcel is sloppy, non-compliant or damaged to the extent that it can’t be repacked appropriately, or the parcel is likely to cause damage to the other goods or injuries to the recipient or other individuals. The Parties shall bear the warehouse charges per day at the rate of 0.1% of the consignment invoice in case the consignment stays undelivered after 48 hours of its booking. My Ace Courier holds the right to sell the goods of the consignment to get all its dues in case the consignment isn’t claimed by anyone within a month starting from the date of booking the consignment.

16. The Parties shall not deduct any amount due to My Ace Courier on account of damaged tax invoices, waybills or any other bills. My Ace Courier will extend its support to the Parties as regards reconstructing duplicate copies of such bills, wherever it’s possible.
